KICKSTART Programme Questions

Q. Is it for me?

Are you wanting to stop the year-on-year gain in weight? Years of sedentary work and after-work drinks catching up on you? Are you wanting to care for your body after a recent pregnancy? Are you fed up of taking medication after medication for your high blood pressure, diabetes, or weak bones? Would you love to be in the best shape of your life for an upcoming special occasion and know how to then maintain it? Are you wanting to set an example for your children? Do you want to be remain active into your later years? Are you coming back into exercise after an injury? Are you worried about how your levels of inactivity will affect your everyday health five years from now? Have you had multiple failed attempts at fad diets? Have you never really enjoyed exercising? Have you decided NOW is your chance to learn how to be fitter, leaner and healthier for life? Then The Lodestar Clinic is for YOU!”

Q. What if I'm too unfit for the KICKSTART training sessions?

There is no such thing. The training sessions in the kickstart programme are here to improve on your starting fitness level, wherever that is. Also, because the exercises are time-limited, everyone is working to their maximum, improving themselves, and no-one is left behind.

Q. Aren't I too old to be starting a fitness, nutrition and health programme?

ABSOLUTELY NOT. It is never too late to start a new approach to life. Anyone aged over 18 is eligible for our programme.

Q. When are the KICKSTART training sessions?

We run morning sessions 7am Tuesdays and Fridays, and evening sessions 18:30 Mondays and Fridays. All sessions last 1 hour.

Q. Can I come to some morning and some evening KICKSTART sessions?

Two group training sessions must be attended each week. For most clients, a choice between either the morning or evening sessions is selected. However on request, we may be able to accommodate clients attending a mix of morning and evening sessions.

Q. When is the next KICKSTART programme?

The next KICKSTART programme starts on 1st October 2018.

Both the KICKSTART and ACHIEVE programmes run alongside each other. The upcoming dates are:

Q. When will my Initial Consultation be?

On booking a place on our programme (here), or after requesting a FREE Initial Consultation (here), we will contact you with several available days and time-slots. Just pick one and we’ll be ready!

Q. When will my Final Consultation be?

This takes place during the last week of the programme. We will arrange this with you a few weeks before the end of the programme so you can accurately choose a day and time that suits you.

 

ACHIEVE Programme Questions

Q. How do I sign up?

Go to our Register page, fill out a form and make your payment.

Q. Which days are the running club sessions?

The Running Club takes place on Tuesdays evenings at 18:30 and Thursday mornings at 07:00 (leaving from outside Canada Water Studios).

Q. When is the next ACHIEVE programme?

The next ACHIEVE programme starts on 21st May 2018.

Both the KICKSTART and ACHIEVE programmes run alongside each other. The upcoming dates are:

Q. Can I join the ACHIEVE programme without having done the KICKSTART programme first?

No. The Lodestar Clinic is designed to help people get back into regular physical training, healthy nutritious eating and looking after their mental and physical health. Only once we have established this over the three months of the KICKSTART programme with the support and guidance of: the group personal training sessions, the Healthy Lifestyle Manual, the Recipe Book, body measurements (before and after), the blood tests (before and after), the weekly videos on a variety of health topics and weekly calls can you then move onto the ACHIEVE programme.

Q. Are the programmes just for women?

No, our programmes are simply for anyone ready to focus on themselves, and make changes towards a healthy sustainable lifestyle. We are here to support you all the way no matter your gender, race, qualifications, age or religion!

Q. How frequently does a new programme begin?

Three programmes of 12 weeks run annually. Both the KICKSTART and ACHIEVE programmes run alongside each other. The upcoming dates are:
